Dear Craig,
This letter is to inform you of the positive experience I had using Proactive Environmental Products™ Mini-Monsoon® groundwater pump we recently purchased. Our client has a fuel terminal in Southern Minnesota that has groundwater impacts for at least 20 years. The geology at the site is fractured bedrocks, and we have a series of shallow bedrock monitoring and recovery wells that range in depth from approximately 70 to 90 feet below ground surface (bgs). Groundwater is encountered at approximately 50-60 feet bgs. The casing/borehole diameters of the wells range from 4 to 8 inches.
We have a large volume of water to remove from each well; therefore, we have attempted to find an efficient yet low maintenance of purging the wells. I believe that we have found the answer in the Mini-Monsoon®. The Mini-Monsoon® allows us to purge deep wells at a faster pace than hand bailing, without the worries of purging the wells dry, like we have had with other methods such as the Grundfos pump. The Mini-Monsoon® pumps at a rate that does not affect draw down in nearby wells, yet saves us time and our client money!
I believe you have a superior produce and we look forward to using the Mini-Monsoon® on a variety of projects!

Dear Craig,
Recently my company purchased the Typhoon® and Low-Flow Sampling Controller. In addition, to common monitoring well sampling jobs, we perform semi-annual groundwater sampling at remote location in Texas. The job requires driving ATV's through the woods, swamp and anything else you can imagine. All the while carrying all of our equipment and capturing purged groundwater. The Typhoon® and Low Flow Control have allowed us to carry low-flow equipment that is more portable than traditional low-flow setups, and minimize the amount of purged water that we have to haul back and forth for disposal.
This system has made this semi-annual project operate more smoothly, quicker, and cost efficient for both our client and ourselves.

Dear Craig,
Our company has successfully used the Cyclone®, Mini-Typhoon® and Typhoon® pumps for various groundwater monitoring projects, including low-flow sampling with excellent results. By dedicating submersible pumps in each monitoring well, we have decreased the number of people needed to collect samples. We found the pumps are easy to install and to hook up to a vehicle or battery pack and controller. The Proactive™ Low-Flow Controller allows sampling at flow rates designated by the USEPA for low flow sampling. Low flow sampling is preferred by most regulatory agencies in order to obtain representative groundwater samples.
We highly recommend these pumps for groundwater monitoring. They are economical, save man hours and are easy to install and use.
